Ingredients:
| 1.00 | lb | Ground beef | | 0.25 | c | Minced onions | | 1.00 | ts | Salt | | 1.00 | ts | Pepper | | 0.50 | c | Milk | | 0.25 | c | Sugar | | 1.50 | tb | Cornstarch | | 1.00 | c | Pineapple juice | | 0.25 | c | Vinegar | | 1.00 | ts | Soy sauce | | 1.00 | tb | Butter | | 1.00 | c | Sliced celery | | 0.50 | c | Sliced pepper | | 0.50 | c | Slivered almonds, sauteed |
Instructions: Form 20 small meatballs of combined beef, onions, salt, pepper, and milk.
Bake at 350 F for 35 minutes.
Combine sugar and cornstarch; mix in liquids and add butter.
Cook on low heat until clear, stirring constantly.
Add vegetables and heat gently 5 minutes.
Place meatballs on a bed of cooked rice, top with sauce and sprinkle with almonds.
