Ingredients:
| 0.25 | c | Vegetable Oil | | 0.25 | c | Sugar | | 1.00 | | Egg | | 1.00 | ts | Vanilla Extract | | 0.50 | c | Unsweetened Applesauce | | 0.50 | c | Whole Wheat Flour | | 0.50 | c | Unbleached White Flour | | 2.00 | ts | Baking Powder | | 0.50 | ts | Baking Soda | | 1.00 | ts | Ground Cinnamon | | 0.12 | ts | Ground Cloves | | 0.50 | c | Rolled Oats | | 0.50 | c | Raisins, dark or golden |
Instructions:
Cream the oil and sugar together.
Add the egg and beat until light.
, Blend in the vanilla and applesauce.
Stir the flours, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, cloves, oats and raisin into the creamed mixture.
Blend well.
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto lightly-oiled baking sheets.
Bake in a 375-degree oven for 10 minutes.
Cool on a wire rack.
