RECIPE FOR LEEK AND MUSHROOM TART
Title: Leek And Mushroom Tart

Ingredients:
Pastry for 9-inch one-crust
3.00tbMargarine or butter
2.00cSliced leeks, (about 1/2
Pound)
1.00cCoarsely chopped shiitake or
Other fresh mushrooms
1.00cShredded white cheddar or
Cheddar cheese (4 ounces)
0.75cShredded mozzarella cheese
(3 ounces)
3.00Eggs
0.67cMilk
0.50tsSalt
0.50tsGround nutmeg

Instructions:
Heat oven to 475 degrees.
Prepare pastry.
Ease into tart pan, 9 X 1 inch, or pie plate, 9 X 1-1/4 inches.
Bake as directed; cool.
Reduce oven temperature to 350 degrees.
Heat margarine in 10-inch skillet over medium heat.
Cook leeks and mushrooms in margarine about 5 minutes.
Spread in tart pan.
Sprinkle with cheeses.
Beat remaining ingredients.
Pour over cheeses.
Bake about 35 minutes or until set.
6 SERVINGS; 360 CALORIES PER SERVING.
