| RECIPE FOR WALNUT COTTAGE PUDDING |
Title: Walnut Cottage Pudding Serves: 6
Ingredients:
| 0.25 | c | Butter | | 0.50 | c | Sugar | | 1.00 | | Egg, well beaten | | 0.25 | ts | Salt | | 1.00 | c | Milk | | 2.00 | c | Flour | | 3.00 | ts | Baking-powder | | 0.50 | c | Chopped nuts | | 0.50 | ts | Vanilla |
Instructions: Cream butter with sugar.
Add egg.
Beat thoroughly.
Sift flour, measure, and sift with baking-powder and salt.
Add alternately with milk to first mixture.
Add nuts and flavoring.
Mix thoroughly.
Pour into shallow, well-oiled baking pan.
Bake in moderate oven (375 F) 30 minutes.
Serve with vanilla or hard sauce.
6 servings.
