| RECIPE FOR VANILLA CRISPS |
Title: Vanilla Crisps Serves: 25
Ingredients:
| 0.50 | c | Margarine or butter | | 1.00 | c | Sugar | | 2.00 | | Eggs | | 0.50 | c | Shortening | | 2.00 | ts | Vanilla extract | | 2.50 | c | Flour |
Instructions: 1.
Cream butter, shortening and sugar.
2.
Add vanilla and 1/2 teaspoon salt.
3.
Add the eggs, beating the mixture well.
4.
Stir in the flour and mix well.
5.
Drop from a teaspoon 2 inches apart on an ungreaded cookie sheet (or chill dough, then shape into 1 inch balls).
6.
Flatten with a floured glass.
7.
Bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes.
8.
Remove immediately and cool on a rack.
Makes 8 4.
