Ingredients:
| 0.50 | c | Margarine; softened | | 0.50 | c | Shortening | | 1.00 | c | Brown sugar, lt; packed | | 0.50 | c | Sugar | | 2.00 | | Eggs | | 2.00 | tb | Water | | 2.00 | tb | Corn syrup, lt | | 2.00 | ts | Vanilla | | 2.00 | ts | Cinnamon | | 0.25 | ts | Nutmeg | | 0.12 | ts | Ginger | | 1.50 | c | Flour; unsifted | | 1.00 | ts | Baking soda | | 1.00 | ts | Salt | | 3.00 | c | Oats, old fashioned | | 1.00 | c | Raisins |
Instructions:
Cream marg, shortening, sugars, eggs, corn syrup, water, and vanilla; beat well.
Combine flour baking soda and salt; add to creamed mixture.
Beat well; stir in oats and raisins.
Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheet.
Bake at 350 deg for 15 min.
Cool slightly on sheet before removing to cooling racks.
