RECIPE FOR RAISIN-DATE BREAD PUDDING
Title: Raisin-date Bread Pudding

Ingredients:
4.00cMilk
5.00cDay-old bread cubes
1.00cSugar
8.00Eggs, beaten
0.50cButter or margarine, melted
0.25cChopped dates
0.25cRaisins
1.00tsVanilla extract
0.50tsGround cinnamon
dsDash salt
dsDash ground nutmeg
Additional sugar, cinnamon,
and nutmeg optional
Whipped cream, optional

Instructions:
In a large bowl, pour milk over bread.
Add sugar, eggs, butter, dates, raisins, vanilla, cinnamon, salt and nutmeg; stir to mix well.
Pour into a greased 13-in.
x 9-in.
x 2-in.
baking dish.
If desired, sprinkle top with additional sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg.
Bake at 350 for 55 minutes or until golden brown and a knife inserted near the center comes ut clean.
Serve warm with whipped cream if desired.
