| RECIPE FOR ALL-AMERICAN MEATLOAF |
Title: All-American Meatloaf
Serves: 12
Ingredients:
| 2.00 | lb | Grd chuck or sirloin | | 0.75 | c | Oatmeal | | | Onion | | 0.50 | c | Catsup | | 0.25 | c | Milk | | 2.00 | x | Eggs | | 1.00 | tb | Horseradish | | 1.00 | ts | Salt | | 0.25 | ts | Pepper | | 0.50 | c | Catsup | | 1.00 | tb | Horseradish | | 3.00 | tb | B. sugar | | 2.00 | ts | Mustard(prepared) |
Instructions:
Combine first 9 ingredients; shape into two 7 1/2x4"" loaves.
Place on a lightly greased rack of a broiler pan; bake at 350 deg for 40 min.
Combine 1/2 c catsup, 1 T horseradish & remaining ingredients; spoon over meatloaf & bake an additional 5 min.
Yields 2 loaves.
NOTE May freeze the second loaf.
