RECIPE FOR LEEKES - LEEKS WITH WALNUTS MEDIEVA
Title: Leekes - Leeks With Walnuts Medieva

Ingredients:
10.00eaTo 12 fresh leeks
1.50cBeef broth
0.50cWhite wine
0.25tsSalt
1.00tbSugar
1.00cCoarsely ground walnuts
1.00tsVinegar
0.50cWalnuts; cut in quarters

Instructions:
Wash, trim, and coarsely chop with leeks.
Simmer slowly in broth and wine for 12 minutes, in a covered pot.
Add salt, sugar, ground nuts, and vinegar.
Simmer another 7 minutes, uncovered.
Spoon leeks into individual serving bowls.
Garnish each portion with quartered nuts.
Serve warm.
