RECIPE FOR CHICKEN AND HERB DUMPLINGS - CROCKPOT
Title: Chicken And Herb Dumplings - Crockpot

Serves: 5

Ingredients:
3.00lbChicken
Salt and pepper
2.00Cloves garlic, minced
0.25tsPowdered marjoram
0.25tsPowdered thyme
1.00Bay leaf
0.50cDry white wine (optional)
1.00cDairy sour cream
1.00cPackaged biscuit mix
1.00tbChopped parsley
6.00tbMilk
10.00Small white onions
2.00eaWhole cloves

Instructions:
Sprinkle chicken with salt and pepper, place in crockpot.
Insert cloves in one onion.
Put all onions into pot.
Add garlic, marjoram, thyme, bay leaf and wine.
Cover and cook on low 5 to 6 hours.
Remove bay leaf and cloves.
Stir in sour cream.
Increase heat to high and combine biscuit mix with parsley.
Stir milk into biscuit mix until well moistened.
Drop dumplings from teaspoon around edge of pot.
Cover and cook on high for 30 minutes.
