Ingredients:
| 2.00 | qt | Elderberries | | | Vinegar to cover | | 1.00 | c | Sugar | | 1.00 | T | Allspice | | 1.00 | T | Cloves | | 0.25 | ts | Cayenne pepper | | 1.00 | ts | Salt | | 1.00 | ts | Cinnamon |
Instructions:
Cook elderberries in vinegar until berries burst.
Put berries through a food press or sieve, add sugar, cinnamon, allspice, cloves and pepper.
Simmer until thickens.
Pour into sterilized jars and seal.
