Ingredients:
| 4.00 | | Whole Tomatoes,Red,Ripe,, | | | -Chopped | | 1.00 | | Whole Chili, Jalapeno, | | | -Chopped | | 0.50 | | Whole Onion, small, Chopped | | 6.00 | oz | Tomato Paste | | 1.00 | | Whole Chili, Chilipetin, | | | -Minced | | 0.50 | | Clove Garlic,Clove,Raw | | 0.25 | ts | Pepper,Black | | 0.50 | ts | Salt | | 0.25 | ts | Paprika | | 1.00 | tb | Vinegar |
Instructions:
Mix all ingredients, adding seasonings last, in a blender.
Mix for desired thickness.
Salsa will keep for a week refrigerated in a closed container.
use glass jars or plastic containers.
NOTES : Salsa is as common on Mexican tables as salt and pepper is! It is used for breakfast dishes, lunches and dinner dishes.
Salsa is a combination of chiles and spices.
It can be thick or thin, hot and spicy or mildly tasty.
