| RECIPE FOR GRAPE CONSERVE |
Title: Grape Conserve Category: Sauce-condm 1941 Serves: 6
Ingredients:
| 3.00 | lb | Ripe grapes | | 2.00 | c | Chopped nuts | | 2.50 | lb | Sugar | | 0.50 | | Lemon |
Instructions: Wash grapes.
Separate skins and pulp.
Simmer pulp until soft.
Remove seeds.
Combine skins, pulp, sugar, and lemon which has been finely chopped.
Simmer slowly, stirring constantly, until thick.
Add nuts and cook 5 minutes.
