RECIPE FOR CONTINENTAL EGGS
Title: Continental Eggs

Ingredients:
1.00tbButter or margarine
6.00Small onions,quartered
1.00pkSliced cooked ham(4 1/2oz)
2.50ozSliced mushrooms,drained
2.00tbFlour
1.00Clove garlic,crushed
0.50tsSugar
0.25tsSalt
0.12tsGround thyme
0.12tsGround marjoram
1.00dsGround pepper
1.00cDry red wine
0.50cWater
1.00tsInstant beef bouillon
4.00Hard-cooked eggs
4.00Sliced buttered toast

Instructions:
Melt butter in 10-inch skillet.
Cook and stir onions in butter until onions are light brown.
Add ham and mushrooms; cook and stir over low heat 2 minutes.
Stir in flour, garlic, sugar, salt, thyme, marjoram and butter.
Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until hot and bubbly.
Remove from heat.
Stir in wine, water and instant bouillon.
Heat to boiling, stirring constantly; reduce heat.
Cover and simmer 20 minutes.
Arrange egg slices on toast; spoon sauce over egg slices.
