Ingredients:
| 12.00 | | Ounces shucked oysters or cl | | | Vegetable oil | | 0.50 | c | All-purpose flour | | 1.00 | ts | Salt | | 0.50 | ts | Pepper | | 2.00 | | Eggs, slightly beaten | | 0.75 | c | Dry bread crumbs |
Instructions: Heat oil (2 to 3 inches) in deep fryer Dutch oven to 325 degrees.
Mix flour, salt and pepper.
Coat oysters or clams with flour mixture.
Dip into eggs, then coat with bread crumbs.
Fry about 2 minutes or until brown; drain on paper towels.
4 SERVINGS; 320 CALORIES PER SERVING.
