| RECIPE FOR BROILED TOMATOES WITH FETA CHEESE |
Title: Broiled Tomatoes With Feta Cheese Category: Vegetarian Side Dish Serves: 4
Ingredients:
| 3.00 | lg | Ripe, firm tomatoes | | | - sliced about 1/2" thick | | 4.00 | oz | Feta cheese | | 0.50 | tb | Chopped marjoram | | | Fruity olive oil | | | Freshly ground pepper |
Instructions: REHEAT BROILER.
Overlap the tomatoes in a large baking dish.
Crumble the cheese over them, add half the marjoram and drizzle oil over the top.
Place the dish a few inches below the heat source and broil until the cheese is melted and starting to color, about 7 minutes.
Remove, drizzle a little more oil over the top, add the rest of the marjoram, season with pepper and serve.
