| RECIPE FOR FLUFFY CORN BREAD |
Title: Fluffy Corn Bread Serves: 9
Ingredients:
| 6.00 | tb | Cornmeal | | 2.00 | c | Buttermilk baking mix | | | Recipe tested with Bisquick | | 1.00 | c | Sugar | | 2.00 | | Eggs | | 1.00 | c | Milk | | 0.50 | c | Melted butter or margarine |
Instructions: Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Combine cornmeal, baking mix and sugar in a mixing bowl.
Add eggs and milk and beat until well-blended.
Lightly mix in melted butter.
Pore batter into a greased 8-inch (or 9-inch) square pan, bake 35 to 40 minutes, or until wooden pick comes out dry.
Serve with butter and honey.
Properly cut, makes nine servings.
