| RECIPE FOR CORN BREAD STICKS |
Title: Corn Bread Sticks Serves: 2
Ingredients:
| 1.50 | c | Corn-meal | | 1.00 | ts | Salt | | 1.00 | ts | Baking powder | | 1.00 | tb | Sugar | | 0.50 | c | Flour | | 1.00 | ts | Baking soda | | 2.00 | c | Sour milk | | 2.00 | | Eggs, well beaten | | 3.00 | tb | Melted shortening |
Instructions: Sift flour, measure, and sift with salt, baking soda, baking powder, and sugar.
Combine eggs, milk, and shortening.
Add dry ingredients.
Beat thoroughly.
Fill well-oiled corn-stick pans 2/3 full.
Bake in hot oven (425 F) 20-25 minutes.
12 servings.
