RECIPE FOR CHEESE AND WINE BREAD
Title: Cheese And Wine Bread
Serves: 8

Ingredients:
Jim Vorheis
1.00cPlus 2 tb all-purpose
flour
0.50tsBaking powder
0.25tsCream of tartar
0.50tsSalt
0.12tsBaking soda
0.25cInstant nonfat dry milk
0.33cVegetable shortening
1.00tbSugar
1.00tbMinced onion
1.00Egg, beaten
0.25cMilk
0.25cWhite wine
0.50tsDried oregano
0.25cFreshly grated Parmesan
cheese

Instructions:
Sift together flour, baking powder, cream of tartar, salt, soda and dry milk.
Cut in shortening until the mixture resembles coarse meal.
Add sugar, minced onion, egg, milk, wine and oregano.
Mix thoroughly.
Spread mixture in greased 8 or 9-inch round pan and sprinkle with cheese.
Bake at 425 F for 15-20 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
